Christopher Colston
Christopher Colston, President of The Colston Company, a California Corporation. Graduated from the Cuesta Community College in San Luis Obispo with an Associate’s Degree in Construction Management. He also maintains the companies General Engineering & Building Contractors License, and is a Certified Project Manager and a Licensed Real Estate Broker.
Mr. Colston’s 22 years of experience including, land acquisitions, due diligence, entitlements, planning, design, construction & residential retail sales; his extensive experience is showcased in his successful track record of taking a project from its conception to completions. His experience encompasses all aspects of architectural engineering, structural engineering, civil engineering, specializing in general contracting, construction inspection, home construction, project & construction management, land planning, estimation and lot configuration for small or large residential and commercial projects.
Mr. Colston demonstrates his aptitude to interface with clients and the public through his knowledge and experience in the industry. He is adept at streamlining processes in the political and public arena; this is evident in his ability to get project done on time and within budget.
Chris, his wife, Christine and their three young children share a strong faith and ties to the community.
Experience
Mr. Colston held the title of Director of Development with Summerton Homes. Mr. Colston engineered & developed 228 lots in his last year with Summerton Homes as well as worked on Commerical and Industrial Entitlement Projects.
Mr. Colston held the title of Senior Project Manager with Matthews Homes (formerly California Homes). Mr. Colston entitled 1100 lots and was also promoted Responsibilities included land acquisition, forward planning, engineering and site development on over 13 projects.
Mr. Colston managed projects as far west as Salinas and Soledad, California; as far north as Stockton, California; as far south as Bakersfield, California; and as far east as Bullhead City, Arizona.
Mr. Colston has also worked on the following project while employed with, Ranchwood Homes / Contractors as Estimator/Project Manager, Thompson Hysell Engineers as senior designer, Engineering Development Associates as designer and Ralph Morgan & Associates Structural and Architectural Engineers as office manager and design
While attending college Mr. Colston worked for Engineering Firms that designed and built projects from all over the State of California.

Trevor Smith
Mr. Smith, works as an independent consultant exclusively for The Colston Company to expand their Consulting, Project Management and Environmental portfolio.
Mr. Smith held the title of Vice President of Entitlements with
Mr. Smith managed a team of four (4) professionals. Mr. Smith was involved in forward planning on over 15,000 lots. Mr. Smith managed projects as far west as Salinas and Soledad, California; as far north as Lincoln, California; as far south as Calexico, California; and as far east as Fernley, Nevada. Mr. Smith managed staff to cover Southern California Projects, including;

Mr. Smith held the title as a Senior associate RBF Consulting. RBF Consulting is a 700-person engineering and planning firm. Mr. Smith performed Internship in summer of 1989 and joined full time in January of 1990. He was initially hired to work on environmental documents related to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). Responsibilities included the preparation of numerous Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports. In addition, Mr. Smith managed the preparation of Phase I Environmental Site Assessments and assisted private and public section clients in the acquisition of regulatory permits (Army Corps of Engineers, U.S. Fish and Wildlife, California Department of Fish and Game, Regional Water Quality Control Board, etc).
Mr. Smith also assisted in forward planning efforts for private clients such as, but not limited to, Beazer Homes, Lyons and Hon Development and public sector clients such as the City of
